Today
Your practices for the day. Tap a card to log progress; the ring shows your overall completion.
Set the practices you follow — japa rounds, a book, a sitting, a service, a time to rise — log them as the day goes, and see whether the rhythm holds. Raising a target never rewrites the past, missed days count as missed, and everything you write down is encrypted before it leaves the device.
Originally, MySādhanaToday was designed primarily for those who follow a spiritual path — to help you set your daily practices, log them, and keep a steady rhythm of sādhana.
That said, the same tools work for any meaningful daily discipline, so anyone who wants to build consistent habits can benefit from it.
In fact, sādhana reaches far beyond religion: a musician's daily riyāz, an athlete's training regimen, a dancer's rehearsal, an artist's hours at the easel, a writer's morning pages — each is a sādhana, the patient, repeated practice through which skill and depth are won. Whatever your path, MySādhanaToday is here to help you show up for it every day.
On the spiritual path it refers to the daily practices — such as japa, meditation, worship, and study of scripture — performed steadily to make spiritual progress.
Your practices for the day. Tap a card to log progress; the ring shows your overall completion.
Each practice is a count (e.g. 16 rounds), a duration (minutes), a checkbox (done / not), a time (e.g. wake by 05:00), or a custom unit (e.g. pages).
Completion for the week, month, year, or all time, per practice — with a calendar heat-map and streaks.
Tap any day in the calendar to review or edit what you logged; you can fill in past days.
Set your location in Settings to see sunrise, noon, sunset and the spiritual periods (brahma-muhūrta and others) on Today, with optional notifications.
Share read-only access to your practices with a mentor by their sādhana tag, so they can follow your progress.
Sign in with your email to sync across devices. Your data is end-to-end encrypted with a 24-word recovery passphrase — keep it safe; it is the only key to your data.
Steady progress is far easier with someone walking beside you. A mentor — a guru, teacher, coach, or experienced friend — offers guidance, honest feedback, encouragement, and gentle accountability, helping you stay consistent and go deeper than you might on your own. In the spiritual traditions this relationship is held as essential.
MySādhanaToday supports this directly: you can share read-only access to your practices with a mentor by their sādhana tag, so they can quietly follow your progress and advise you — and you can mentor others the same way. Nothing is shared unless you choose to, and whatever you keep private stays end-to-end encrypted.
In the bhakti tradition, one's sādhana — the name of one's guru, one's worshippable Deities, one's mantra, even one's japa beads — is kept confidential. MySādhanaToday is built around this principle: your data is end-to-end encrypted, readable only by you and any mentor you explicitly choose.
A disciple should keep secret the name of his guru, the names of his worshippable Deities, and his mantras, and should hide his japa beads.
This is the spirit behind the app's encryption and recovery passphrase: your practice is yours to keep — shared only by your own choosing.
One Tauri shell, one frontend, five platforms. The download is the whole app — what a supporter code adds to it is listed under Support.
The desktop builds are unsigned, so Windows and macOS will warn about an unidentified developer before the first launch. The Android APK is a sideload: allow installs from your browser, then open the file.
MySādhanaToday is free. Your practice lives on your device and syncs across your devices from the first launch — encrypted, backed up, at no cost, and the free plan is not a trial.
It is written and looked after by one person, and there are still bills behind it — the developer accounts, the signing certificates, the hosting, and the servers that carry your sync and encrypted backups. If the app is useful to you and you would like to help carry that, a donation is warmly welcome. Here it also unlocks the supporter features, and it keeps the free plan free for everybody else. 🙏
Everything described further up this page is in the free plan, sync and encrypted backup included. These are the additions:
